Every photograph tells a story. Urban Frames invites you to slow down and discover Verona with fresh eyes, learning to read light, architecture and the details that often go unnoticed. A creative walk through the city's most iconic places, guided by a professional photographer and ending with a traditional Italian aperitivo and a shared editing session.
Before it becomes a photograph, every image begins with the way we look at the world.
Urban Frames was created around this idea: learning to observe Verona before taking the picture. It is neither a photography course nor a simple photoshoot. Instead, it is a story-led walk where your camera or smartphone becomes a tool for slowing down, paying attention and building a deeper relationship with the city.
The experience begins near the Church of San Fermo Maggiore, where your photographer introduces a few essential principles of photography: natural light, composition, perspective and the art of telling a story through an image.
From there, the walk unfolds through some of Verona’s most remarkable corners. The Scaliger Tombs, Ponte Pietra and the banks of the Adige River become opportunities to practise simple yet effective techniques, suitable whether you’re using a smartphone or a professional camera.
The goal is not to create perfect photographs, but to develop a more mindful eye. Every stop encourages you to slow down, notice geometry, reflections, textures and hidden details, transforming an ordinary walk into an open-air creative studio.
For those who wish, the experience can include the panoramic climb to Castel San Pietro. From above, Verona reveals an entirely different perspective, offering the perfect opportunity to explore urban landscape photography and understand how changing your viewpoint transforms the story a city can tell.
The walk concludes at one of Verona’s historic wine bars, where the group gathers over a traditional aperitivo or a non-alcoholic alternative. During a relaxed editing session, each participant selects the image that best represents their personal experience, discovering how a photograph can become not only a memory, but also a story worth sharing.
Designed for travellers, creatives, photography enthusiasts and curious locals alike, Urban Frames invites you to experience Verona through the language of images, reminding us that photography begins with learning how to see.
